The market ended today in red, dipping 0.05% at 5320.60. Apart from huge selling pressure, the opening of European markets in red also contributed to the diminishing  market. The top three highly traded stocks were Unitech (74.35), Suzlon (57.65) and IFCI (54.30).

Market started off pretty high today mainly due to positive news from Global markets. Trading was very volatile during the intra-day session and displayed peaks and troughs. At EOD, it was 5119.35. Hindalco and Unitech were most active for the day.
